Release Notes
After a very long pause, a new set of Revapi releases is here. This actually doesn’t bring a lot of change but contains some important fixes.
-
Revapi standalone CLI now generates at most 1 configuration per extension from the commandline arguments #272,
-
Protection against stack-overflow while computing the set of super types in some rare cases #274,
-
java-package
matcher was fixed to not confuse the analysis results when seeing inherited inner types, -
java.method.visibilityIncreased
API problem has a new more correct classification #248 -
Handling of missing types has been improved (problems could be seen especially when using
checkDependencies=false
in your revapi-maven-plugin configuration) #279.
Thanks go out to Steve Gutz for fixing the CLI and stack-overflow issues, as well as to Simon Bernard for help with diagnosing the issue in java-package
matcher.
Wishing early merry Christmas to all that observe Christmas and happy holidays to those that just enjoy the year-end.
Also, to anyone that supports Russia’s war against Ukraine - have your head examined. Slava Ukraini!
